Zoë Slater

I craft colourful and creative ceramics to be used in people's homes. I focus on simple forms and bold designs for my range of vases, vessels, lighting, and other unique objects.

For the last few years, I have specialised in creating wheel-thrown ceramics. The word ‘thrown’ is from the old English, thrawan, to twist or turn. Taking that principle, I like to make pots with curveous bodies or undulating sides. I use a variety of decorative techniques but am particularly drawn to brush strokes, pouring, and splashing.

You are welcome to browse my collection, discuss a commission or arrange a private class at my studio. I hope you find something that you like.
